many of you will be aware of all sorts of equipment that is required to keep
bars running. Glassware and other utensils are perhaps the most important of
all. Bars use and need more types glasses than typical dining rooms. Let us
have a look at different sorts of glassware that one would need to serve all
sorts of drinks at a bar.
Beer Glasses:
Usually Pint glasses are used to serve traditional beers and pilsner glasses are used to serve lager beers. Bartenders can often use glass chiller to cool and frost glasses.

Beer Mugs and Steins:
These have thick stronger bottoms and large handles for lifting. In bars where there is way too much “party” and Commotion, these glasses can survive more abuse.

Whoa! Now we can’t leave these out, can we? You will require
these in bulk, these like the Beer mugs also have thicker bottoms so they can
survive the slamming on the table. Whiskey can also be served in Shot glasses.
Shooter Glasses:
Used mostly for liquor Cocktails and one to five ounce shots, these are taller than the shot and whiskey glasses.

High Ball Glasses:
These are usually used for cocktails which have a higher
ratio of mixture to liquor.

There come in handy for serving martinis, cosmopolitans or Champagne.
